Nonetheless, it is also customary for the guests especially the married ones to dole out pieces of advice and wisdom for the soon to be wife.

Most of the time, bridal showers are held 2-6 weeks prior to the big day, the wedding. It should be according to the bride’s convenience since she is surely busy preparing for the upcoming wedding. Make sure that the time and date is a good one for her. As a tradition, the Maid of Honor is the primary organizer and the bridesmaids would also serve as hosts of the event. There are also instances when the bride’s mother, groom’s mother, family members, and close friends join together to make this special day possible. It is more practical though that only a few should do the planning to avoid a lot of stress.

This is a fun way to give the couple an assortment of items for each room in the house. Today’s century heralds the invention of state of the art appliances and gadgets that any room in the house could make use of. When addressing the invitations, assign a different room for each guest as a guide of what to give and to avoid duplication of pieces. It is up to the guest to choose something that would match the couple’s taste.

Naughty and Nice Shower

Something of a little more risqué would also delight the couple. Guests can present them with stuff that may be suggestive of intimacy. Candles, bath items, silken and satin bedspreads would add extra fun to the newlyweds couple time. Lingerie, lotions or massage oils, and several other naughty items would also be a hit. Steer clear of this theme though if guests who are inclined to be conservative are expected to come.

A popular idea for a couple who have been living together and have acquired all the items they need. Specialty products and those that are essential for travel could be purchased for the couple. If the honeymoon will be spent on a tropical place gifts such as matching slippers or outfits, suntan lotions, toiletries, and more will be very much appreciated.
